What’s New and Cool

What you need to know, before you have to ask – Once you opt in, Google Now tells you today’s weather before you start you day, how much traffic to expect before you leave for work, when the next train will arrive as you’re standing on the platform, or your favorite team’s scores while they’re playing.

Google Voice Search: A new way to search – Need an answer fast? Now you can just speak your question directly to your phone. “Do I need an umbrella today?” “Where is the nearest gym?” Your phone will speak back the answer, or run a quick search to get you exactly the info you need.

Notifications you can act on – Now you can take action directly from the notifications shade. Late for a meeting? E-mail everyone to let them know. Missed call? Call them back in an instant. And because they’re expandable, you can get an even deeper look into the things that matter most, like multiple e-mails or photos on Google+.

Do More with Google Voice Search
You can activate Google Voice Search within the Google Now home page by either touching the Mic Button on the Search Bar at the top of the home screen, or by saying the word “Google” followed by your request.
